Sales/Account Manager
Believe Digital is looking for a passionate Sales & a Account manager to join its team of label and
artist acquisitions staff in the US. A deep knowledge of the independent music industry and key labels, as well as the experience and knowledge to sign content is essential as Believe continues to
drive its label acquisition strategy in the US. The representative will be responsible for identifying potential new label partners and relevant business development opportunities to develop with
the head of sales, as well as working amongst a team of account managers who handle label acquisition and day to day digital strategy of labels.

The role would suit a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual with a wealth of experience in the independent music sector and will come from a distribution background with a clear understanding of the digital music industry. The ideal candidate will equally be able to attract established, notable and successful labels to Believe Digital, as well as to identify new and upcoming labels with long-term development potential.

Trade Marketing/Social Media Manager
Job Description

We are looking for a Trade Marketing & Social Media Manager
to join our US team based in New York. The position will be
responsible for working with our key digital retail and social media
partners across the US and coordinate with our international
offices on front-line marketing initiatives for our extensive new
release schedule and catalogue. Experience in Digital Marketing
and digital retail promotion across a la carte download, streaming
and mobile is integral to the role. The successful candidate will
report to the Head of International Trade Marketing and Head of
Social Media & Digital Marketing based in the UK.

Tasks will include ensuring that key retailers are aware of priority
releases; optimising the promotional information that is available
and ensuring our releases receive strong coverage. It will be
crucial to develop and grow the relationships with retailers, and
explore ways to further our catalogue visibility. Compiling sales
analysis for key releases and creating reports to show successes
and understand store trends. Creating a weekly label newsletter to
highlight new signings, new catalogue promotions and key release
updates. Creating monthly newsletters for our retail partners to
highlight key genre successes and ensure continuing promotion.

YOU MUST HAVE / BE THE FOLLOWING:

• Excellent knowledge of digital music services in the US.

• A keen and creative interest in digital technologies and digital
marketing opportunities.

• The ability to identify and analyse, release and store sales
trends.

• Have a good knowledge of social media sites including YouTube,
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.

• Be able to develop and manage our labels social media
strategies with the aim being to grow social audiences and
increase engagement and interaction.

• Understand how to manage and monetize video content on
our labels video channels across YouTube, Daily Motion, MUZU
etc. (Full training available for the right candidate)

• Friendly nature and good interpersonal skills.

• A passionate, diligent self-starter.

• The ability to multi task and prioritise.

• Basic HTML, Dreamweaver and Photoshop skills are
advantageous.

KLM to fly on China gutter oil:

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is helping rid the mainland of one health issue, saying it plans to buy tonnes of gutter oil for use as fuel.

The airline, which currently uses a 50-50 mix of bio and fossil fuels, said it needs as much as 120,000 tonnes of jet fuel each year.

It has offered to buy 2,000 tonnes of gutter oil - a term used in the mainland to describe cooking oil that has already been used - from Shanghai to be refined into aviation fuel.
